Rebuilt event and team modules in HubSpot using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Focused on modern layouts, easy navigation, and better functionality for scheduling meetings.
Year :

Industry :
FinTech
Client :
PAAY Team
Project Duration :
1 month

OVERVIEW :
During my internship at PAAY, a fintech company specializing in payment authentication, I worked with the marketing team to improve the functionality and design of their website. One of my most impactful projects was redesigning the Events page, which previously only displayed static images of upcoming events. While informative, the page lacked an interactive or clear way for users to schedule meetings with the team at those events. I set out to transform this into a more engaging and functional experience.

MY CONTRIBUTIONS :
Front-End Development and Design: Built custom modules in HubSpot using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, combining code and design principles to ensure both functionality and a seamless visual experience.
Interactive Flip Cards: Designed and developed a feature where hovering over an event image flips the card to reveal team members who would be attending. Each card included a call-to-action button that linked directly to the member’s meeting calendar, making it easy for users to schedule a meeting in just one click.
Cohesive Layout: Carefully placed and styled the modules for a polished, professional look that reflected PAAY’s brand identity and delivered a smooth user experience.
Event Calendar Integration: Added a full events calendar at the bottom of the page, giving users a quick overview of all upcoming events in one place.

IMPACT :
The redesigned Events page went beyond aesthetics by directly improving user interaction and accessibility. It made it easier for potential clients to connect with PAAY’s team at conferences and industry events, supporting the company’s business goals while also enhancing the professionalism of their online presence. The final product blended thoughtful design with technical execution, demonstrating how strong front-end development and UX principles can create a clear and engaging user journey.
